Intermediates Powder
Rapicut has a well-equipped plant at Ankleshwar to manufacture sintered Tungsten Carbide products. The manufacturing has various Intermediate stages such as:
1. Reduction of Tungsten Oxide (WO3) to Tungsten Metal (W) Powder in a controlled atmosphere in a continuous pusher type furnace.
2. Carburising of Tungsten Metal (W) with pure Carbon powder in a Carburising furnace to Tungsten Carbide (WC) Powder.
3. Milling of Tungsten Carbide (WC) along with binder like Cobalt metal and other alloying elements to ready to press (RTP) Powder.
The products at these intermediate stages are individually saleable. Rapicut offers all the Intermediate products to the customers. In addition, Fused Tungsten Carbide (FTC) Powder is also manufactured for matrix mixture for various applications and for hard facing rods.Tungsten Metal Powder (TMP)

Rapicut has by using Modern Research & Development Techniques developed Tungsten Carbide grades suitable for Mining & Wear Part applications. The various grades of RTP used in Mining are RD10, RD25, RD35, RD40, RWX and in Wear Parts RW10, RW20, RW30, RW40, RW50 and RK05.
